Razer Rolls Out Full Mobile PC Game Streaming Experience with Remote Play App

Razer has officially rolled out its highly anticipated PC game streaming feature, offering gamers the ability to play their favorite PC titles on mobile devices with high fidelity. Dubbed Razer PC Remote Play, the new platform delivers games at their original screen resolutions, refresh rates, and aspect ratios—right from your desktop to your phone or tablet. The app is now live on both the App Store and Google Play, and supports devices running Windows 11, iOS 18, and Android 14 or higher.

This new remote gaming tool is built on the well-established Moonlight streaming client and integrates with Razer’s revamped Cortex game launcher on PC. Once set up, users can access games from platforms like Steam, Epic Games, and Microsoft’s PC Game Pass. On the mobile side, players will need both the Razer Nexus launcher and the Razer PC Remote Play app installed for a seamless experience.

Initially previewed at CES 2025, the release version includes support for the advanced AV1 video codec, which brings enhanced image quality and reduced lag. It also supports a wide range of mobile controllers, including Razer’s own Kishi Ultra. Android users with the Kishi Ultra will enjoy immersive Sensa HD Haptics, which translate game audio into tactile feedback using smartphone vibration technology.

For iPad users, the app brings extra versatility with full compatibility for keyboard, mouse, and trackpad controls, turning the tablet into a surprisingly robust platform for playing more control-intensive titles like first-person shooters. Razer PC Remote Play sets a new standard for mobile cloud gaming, blurring the line between desktop power and handheld convenience.
