“Delphi” Series to Expand the Creed Universe on Amazon with Michael B. Jordan Producing
A new chapter in the Creed legacy is on its way—this time on the small screen. Amazon has officially announced a spin-off TV series titled Delphi, which will build on the world first introduced in the Creed film trilogy. Actor and director Michael B. Jordan, who portrays Adonis Creed, is deeply involved in the project from behind the scenes as an executive producer.
Set within the walls of the Delphi Boxing Academy, the gym featured prominently in the Creed films, the series will shine a spotlight on a new generation of fighters training to make a name for themselves. While detailed plotlines remain tightly under wraps, the premise centers on the lives and struggles of young boxers coming up through the ranks. The gym is famously run by Tony “Little Duke” Evers Jr., the son of Apollo Creed’s legendary trainer.
The announcement was made as part of Amazon’s 2025 Upfront event in New York, which also unveiled major updates to other upcoming series, including Fallout season three and an animated Spider-Noir project starring Nicolas Cage.
Delphi will be helmed by Marco Ramirez, known for his work on Netflix’s Daredevil and The Defenders, as well as Hulu’s boxing series La Máquina. The involvement of Ramirez signals a gritty and character-driven approach that should resonate with fans of both boxing dramas and grounded superhero storytelling.
Jordan, who directed Creed III and is fresh off a starring role in the horror thriller Sinners, has expressed continued interest in expanding the Creed universe, including potentially returning for a fourth film. While nothing is confirmed on that front, Delphi serves as a promising next step in what has become one of cinema’s most exciting sports franchises.
